Pro Tips
Dual Stack is Best
Having both A and AAAA records (dual stack) ensures your domain is reachable from both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. IPv6-only risks cutting off older clients; IPv4-only misses the growing IPv6 user base.
Check the Type
Only Global Unicast addresses (2000::/3) are publicly routable. If you see Link-Local or Unique Local addresses in your AAAA records, something is wrong — those can't be reached from the internet.
Set Up rDNS
Reverse DNS matters for IPv6 too — especially for mail servers. Without a PTR record, outbound email from an IPv6 address is more likely to be rejected or flagged as spam.
